Fun, Fun, Fun on Lake Samish

Updated On: Dec 18, 2009 (10:24:00)

It was an absolutely gorgeous day for the annual Teamsters Local 231 picnic held Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Lutherwood Camp on Lake Samish.  We had 186 members and their families in attendance.  The food was catered again by Kelli's O'Deli who did a fantastic job.

We would like to extend a special Thank You to everyone who graciously gave of their time:

Flo Rose-Banks (Mount Vernon School District) and Heather Ewing (wife of Rich Ewing, YRC) with pictures, Kyle Mannen (UPS Burlington) with parking, Ted Williams (Sanitary Service), Ben Angel (Mount Vernon School District), Louis Petersen (Skagit County Courts), Russell Hayes (UPS Burlington who even retrieved a bee out of the bounce house), Jim Sofka (Whatcom County M&O), Vivian Strong (Whatcom County), and Marilyn Wyss (City of Lynden) who all helped with the children's bounce house.  I hope you are all enjoying the beach towels with this warm weather.
