2023 Teamsters Joint Council 28 Lobby Day
On February 6, 2023 Teamsters across Washington State Lobbied at the State Capitol for legislation that impacts our industries and affects the day to day lives of working people. This year we advocated for several bills including the following bills:
Employee Free Speech (SB 5417)
Warehouse Worker Protections (SB 5348)
Bus Driver funding Bill (1248)
This year we spoke to our legislatures from both the 40th and the 42nd Districts. Thank you to Lauren Huffman-Kahre and Flo Rose-Banks for taking the time to Lobby with Teamsters Local 231. Your work in Olympia this Lobby Day helped to bring attention to vital Teamster issues for all of our Union Brothers and Sisters!
