In 1991 Heather graduated from WWU with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. In 1992 Heather became a member of the Teamsters when she started working as a Driver Helper for United Parcel Service. In 1996 she became a member of Teamsters Local 227 as a Utility Driver for Wonder Bread. Shortly after she started at Wonder Bread she was nominated Shop Steward.
Kelsey started her Teamsters journey working for Whatcom County Public Works before coming on staff as a Titan Operator, at Teamsters Local 231 in 2020. She quickly realized her passion for the Labor movement and became a Business Representative and Organizer in October 2021. She has successfully organized several new groups into the Teamsters.
Currently works at Mount Vernon School District.
Tammy has worked for Teamsters Local 231 for approximately 4 years as your Titan Operator/Administrative Assistant. Prior to coming to work at the local, she was a Shop Steward and a Teamster member working for Whatcom County. She worked for the Public Works Department involved in both Maintenance and Operations and the Equipment Services Divisions.
Currently works for Whatcom County Sheriff's Office.
Currently works at UPS.
Currently works at Waste Management.
