The Teamsters Futures Committee is a union initiative for younger members to engage in leadership, education, and union activities. The committee empowers the next generation of Teamsters by educating members under a certain age (typically under 35, but ALL are welcome) about union operations, encouraging active participation, and developing future leaders within the union.  Its mission includes fostering engagement, promoting solidarity, and preparing younger members to take on leadership roles in their locals and councils.  Members participate voluntarily and are encouraged to attend meetings, social events, and union training sessions. The committee provides a platform for members to voice ideas, organize campaigns, and contribute to union initiatives.
