Bimbo Bakeries ratify 4-year agreement! Posted On: Dec 09, 2024 On Saturday, November 30, 2024, Teamster members at Local 117, 231 and 252 voted and ratified a fully recommended successor agreement. The new 4-year agreement includes significant improvements to language items, including an updated grievance procedure. During the term of this agreement, the hourly wages will be at parity, effectively eliminating a two-tier wage scale. Historically, there have been no increases in commission percentages for Route Sales Professionals. Effective immediately, they will see a 1.5% increase on the new branded products. There will also be increases in pension contributions, including increased pension rates for merchandisers, whose rates have been frozen for a long time. Along with all the other improvements, employees will see a lump sum payment before the December holidays!
